I Only Get to Borrow the Forest
Following a three-week residency in Möklinta, the exhibition brought together materials from the village: a woodpile built with the World Cup Woodpilers association and local schoolchildren, weaves by the Möklinta Shuttlers (twenty members, active for over twenty years), recordings of three local church choirs, and a live microphone placed in a tree outside the building. Quotes from conversations with residents ran along one wall. The title comes from one of them.
