My Lindh
Lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden
Lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden
About
My Lindh’s practice is situation- and time sensitive, and spans a wide range of media, such as text, video, audio, performance and installation. The works are concentrated on the local, the everyday and the specific, and often include the viewer’s movements and bodies. Lindh frequently works with collaborative and dialogical processes, exploring how we through collective actions, dreams and memories can re-enact notions of care, nature, history, present and future. It’s about about our shared spaces and how we co-become. But also what room for maneuver there is and for whom.
My Lindh holds a MFA from Konstfack University in Stockholm. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally, including Moderna Museet, Marabouparken Art Hall, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee’s International Programme (Iaspis), Göteborgs Konsthall, Färgfabriken, Kunstverein München, Kluuvi Gallery of Helsinki Art Museum and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. She has realised a number of public art works and is represented in collections such as the Swedish Art Agency, Västerås Art Museum, Uppsala Municipality, Knivsta Municipality and Gävleborg County. She has received a number of grants, such as the Stockholm City Culture Grant, the Martin Emond Grant and the Ida Strömer Grant from the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts and the Working Grant from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
