Air Space
2021
Wooden constructions with benches. Three units: 39.5 m³, 19.8 m³ and 16.7 m³. Temporary outdoor installation, Uppsala Hospital Park.
Three open-air rooms placed in the park outside Uppsala Hospital, built to correspond to the cubic metres of air historically allocated to different patient categories at the psychiatric hospital: 39.5 m³ for first-class patients, 19.8 m³ for calm patients and 16.7 m³ for those classified as “anxious and untidy”. Visitors could lie on the bench inside each space and look up at the sky.
